Adult Degree Completion Program
Admission
ADMISSIONS POLICIES
First Step
- Call the Adult Degree Completion Program Office for general information
- Speak to the Director or one of the program coordinators
- Have an initial packet of information sent to your home address
- Applicants must have completed a minimum of 35 transfer credits, earned at institutions of higher education and/or training programs evaluated as equivalent to college credit, to be considered for admission
- An applicant must be a working adult with five years of full-time work experience and a record of responsible employment
Second Step
- Applicants must complete an Adult Degree Completion Program application
- pay a non-refundable $50 admission’s fee
- furnish the ADCP Office with official transcript(s) of all previous, post-secondary school academic education and training
- Write a 2-page essay as outlined in the application
- Applicants must provide evidence of high school graduation
- Applicants must provide evidence of immunization (see enclosed forms)
Third Step
- Applicants must interview with either the director or a program coordinator
- Applicants must attend an Orientation Session prior to the first day of class.
- Applicants must disclose how tuition will be paid: they need to complete either Student Loan forms in advance of the first day of class or supply us with vouchers for payment or make personalized payment arrangements
- All students must sign Student Promissory Notes at the Orientation Session.
Final Step
- A letter of matriculated admission will be sent once an application, a $50 application fee, proof of high school graduation, proof of immunization and official transcript(s) are received by the ADCP office. A letter of non-matriculated admission will be sent if one or more documents required of admission have not been submitted prior to the first day of class.
- Students must fulfill 2 General Education requirements: 3-credits General Psychology and 3-credits Humanities (History, Philosophy or Advanced English studies) by the time they graduate.
