Adult Degree Completion Program

About the Program

Founded in 1997, the Adult Degree Completion Program at Manhattan College is a unique alternative to the traditional method of pursuing a college degree. The program is designed to provide adult students a non-traditional opportunity to complete a baccalaureate degree for the advancement of their professional careers and for personal achievement. The purpose is to prepare students for success in emerging global, corporate/industrial environments.

The program is offered in a highly structured, modular format. Each group proceeds as a cohort through a structured series of courses and experiences leading to a common completion within an accelerated period of approximately 23months.

Utilizing a collaborative format, each learning cohort persists together throughout the program of courses mutually supportive learning communities supported by faculty facilitators and interactive communications. The curriculum consists of 18 modules focusing on organizational behavior, supervision, interpersonal skills, management problems and ethics.

Students who successfully complete the program are granted a Bachelor of Science degree form Manhattan College.

Manhattan College is charted and empowered to confer academic degrees by the University of the State of New York. It is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
