Description of Undergraduate Program:
The History Department offers a major and minor in History with courses in a wide variety of chronological and topical subjects. The department is particularly strong in the United States from 1750 to the present, Eastern and Western Europe from 1700 to the present, China and Southeast Asia, and Latin America. Qualified students are eligible for admission into Phi Alpha Theta, the international honor society for history. They may also enroll in history-related cooperative education internships.
