PEACE STUDIES MAJOR FINALIST
FOR CLARK FOUNDATION FELLOWSHIP
MAY 2004

Julie Grogan-Brown, a junior majoring in Peace Studies and Urban Studies, was one of two Manhattan College students named finalists for the Clark Foundation Fellowship in the Spring of 2004.  Michael Brady, a junior majoring in English and Government, was the other finalist, and was selected to receive the Clark Foundation Fellowship.

The Clark Foundation Fellowship is designed to train the next generation of non-profit organization leaders.  Upon graduation, Clark Fellows work in a non-profit organization and begin a graduate degree program in New York City.  The Clark Foundation provides a $10,000 supplement to the Fellow's salary for 2 years (totaling $20,000), plus $10,000 toward the cost of graduate tuition.  The Clark Foundation also provides guidance to Fellows in pursuing a professional career in the non-profit, public interest sector, during their senior year and their years as a Clark Fellow.  Manhattan College students seeking information abut the fellowship should see
