Description of Undergraduate Program:

The Sociology Department offers a major and minor of Sociology, and five areas of concentration within the major (Criminology/Criminal Justice, Social Work, Education and Society, Anthropology, and General Sociology).

The Department prepares students for careers in criminal justice, social work, law, urban planning, public relations, administration in government or business, public service, social research and data analysis, anthropology, and other related fields. Internships are available for students to explore career interests and apply knowledge in field experiences.
