The Department of Economics and Finance offers a broad choice of courses and two distinct majors: Economics and Finance. The aims of the department are (1) to prepare students for careers in industry, government, not-for-profit organizations, or economic research; (2) to provide an intellectual and professional basis for informed participation in contemporary society; (3) to direct the development of competent and well-disciplined students to undertake graduate studies in Economics and Finance.
