Honor Societies

Each honor society has specific criteria for entrance. You can view the honor societies for other academic areas on each school’s web pages. Please note that Epsilon Sigma Pi is open to students in all academic areas at Manhattan College. Students who have completed six consecutive semesters with a 3.4 cumulative index and no failures are eligible.

Alpha Iota Delta - the national honor society for Computer Information Services and Decision Sciences was founded in 1992 to confer distinction for academic excellence and to promote the infusion of the functional and behavioral areas of administration with the tools, concepts, and methodologies of the decision sciences.

Beta Alpha Psi - an international honors organization that enhances the university educational experience by providing interaction with finance, information systems and accounting professionals, conducting technical and personal development programs through campus, regional and International meetings, and promoting and encouraging community service.

Beta Gamma Sigma - the honor society serving business programs accredited by AACSB International - The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International.

Omicron Delta Epsilon - an academic honor society in economics. Admission is based on a cumulative index and grades. The original charter was received in 1959 from Omicron Chi Epsilon.

Mu Kappa Tau - the only Marketing Honor Society to offer both international recognition and chapter affiliation to its members. Founded by members of Pi Sigma Epsilon in 1966, its purpose is to recognize academic excellence and to encourage individuals seeking a lifelong commitment to an exceptional standard of ethics and achievement within the marketing discipline.
