School of Business

Students in the School of Business will learn how to perform in the business world. Armed with the practical knowledge, Manhattan College students also enhance their ability to reason, problem solve, and sort through ethical challenges. Throughout their college career they will have many opportunities to meet alumni in a variety of business fields so that they can explore different career options.

One of the things that makes the Manhattan College School of Business unique is its emphasis on the liberal arts. All students are required to take a core of liberal arts courses to provide a broad based education on which to build. Students then take a core of business courses in each of the major areas so that there is a broad knowledge of the business field before students begin to pursue their major area of study. Many students pursue a double major or a major and minor to fine tune their programs to suit their career needs.
