School of Engineering

Our staff is always ready to help you.

Mr. Richard Schneider is the Academic Advisor for the School of Engineering. He provides counseling for new and continuing students and assistance with course schedules and planning for freshmen and sophomores in all engineering programs. Mr. Schneider is a Registered Professional Engineer (PE).  He holds a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Manhattan College and is deeply interested in engineering education and heavily involved in recruiting of students for the School of Engineering.  For further information contact Mr. Schneider by telephone at (718) 862-7282 or by email to Mr. Schneider.  

Ms. Sheila Halpin is the Office Manager of the Office of the Dean of Engineering and is responsible for the logistical operations as the school administrator.  Ms. Halpin served as the department administrator for mechanical engineering for over four years. Anne Lavelle and Erica Reubel are part-time administrative assistants in the Office of the Dean.  They can be reached at (718) 862-7986 and (718) 862-7283, respectively.  In addition, each department has an administrator reporting to the chairperson.
