I share with you that the Mission of the School of Engineering at Manhattan is to prepare you (and each of our students) for a productive and rewarding career in engineering or related profession. Our challenging and rewarding curriculum instills the techniques and skills of engineering design through the study of basic and advanced engineering science. This foundation is carefully integrated with practice-oriented engineering design experience which addresses both technical and non-technical aspects of engineering practice. When our students earn a Manhattan College engineering degree, they are prepared to enter the world of professional practice and to continue their studies through the pursuit of post-baccalaureate education.

Furthermore, this strong foundation, when coupled with a thorough preparation in a specific engineering discipline, ensures that you (and each of our students) will have life-long access to rapidly developing new technologies and will prepare you to be a citizen, an advocate, and a leader in the complex world of the 21st century.
