The Graduate Fellowships Committee

Our six Committee members are professors from all five Schools of Manhattan College.

Each member oversees the application process of one or more scholarships or fellowships.

Funding opportunities are available for more familiar programs (Rhodes) and less familiar ones (Jack Kent Cooke).

Since eligibility requirements differ for each program, investigate for yourself to see which one best suits your goals.

Pre-Law

Dr. Patricia Sheridan, Assistant Professor of Law  is our Pre-Law Advisor.

If you are thinking about law school, it would be helpful to meet with Dr. Sheridan to discuss your future plans.

We have a Lawyer Advisor Program  that might be just right for you.

Get on our mailing list so that you will receive announcements about workshops, law school events, updates on the admission process, etc.

Pre-Health Professions

Dr. Bruce Liby, Chair and Associate Professor of the Physics Department is the Pre-Health Professions Advisor and Chair of the Health Professions Advisory Committee.

Students are encouraged to begin thinking about the process of gaining admittance to health professional schools early in their undergraduate careers.

It is important not only to excel academically, but also to become a well-rounded individual. i.e. take courses in the humanities, volunteer to help others, work on research projects, become honor society members and student leaders.
