Teaching Interests:

Instrumental Analysis; Quantitative Chemical Analysis; Physical Chemistry Lab.; General Chemistry.

Research Interests:

Synthesis of various ruthenium(II) and rhodium(III) mixed-ligand diimine complexes. Characterization of the products by UV-visible, IR, fluorescence and NMR spectroscopy. Investigation of the photophysical and photochemical properties of these metal complexes with the excitation of lasers and other conventional light sources. These projects have been and will continue to be carried out in collaboration with undergraduates.
