Education:

  • B.S., Stony Brook University (1988)
  • Ph.D., The College of William and Mary (1997)

Teaching:

My teaching responsibilities have included Physics I (calculus-based mechanics), Physics II (calculus-based electricity and magnetism), Mechanics (junior-level), Great Ideas in Physics, Introductory Astronomy, and Introductory Geology. As the Laboratory Coordinator, I am responsible for the instructional physics laboratories, editing the physics laboratory manuals, and writing the manuals for Great Ideas in Physics, and Introductory Astronomy.

Research:

I have done research in several areas of theoretical particle physics beyond the standard model, including Higgs model extensions, rare decays, CP violation, and supersymmetry. I expect to create some opportunities for student research projects by the fall of 2008.
