Kiyoung Lee

Visiting Assistant Professor of Physics

Education:

  • B.S., Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea.
  • M.S., Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea.
  • Ph.D., Stony Brook University, Stony Brook, NY.

For M.S. I studied theoretical nuclear physics with special emphasis on high density QCD. For Ph.D. I studied theoretical high energy physics with special emphasis on superstring theory.

Teaching:

Physics for Life science, Introduction to Solar system (2006~2007),
Principles in Physics, Great Ideas in Physics, Introduction to Astronomy (2007~2008)

Research:

I am interested in theoretical high energy physics. Especially I am interested in covariant quantization of Green-Schwartz superstring. Also I am interested in LHC (Large Hadron Collider) phenomenology.

Recent Publications:

Simpler Superstring Scattering, Kiyoung Lee, Warren Siegel, JHEP 0606:046,2006. [HEP-TH 0603218]

Conquest of the ghost pyramid of the superstring, Kiyoung Lee, Warren Siegel,

JHEP 0508:102,2005. [HEP-TH 0506198]

Bound state gravity from higher derivatives, Kiyoung Lee, Warren Siegel, Nucl.Phys.B665:179-188,2003. [HEP-TH 0303171]
