The Manhattan College sponsored and exchange programs offer students a specialized study abroad experience. Since these are Manhattan College programs, students will be able to transfer a portion, if not all, of their Manhattan College institutional merit scholarship and need-based grant money. Please consult the Student Financial Services office for an outline of your personal financial package.
All programs are available during the fall or spring semester, unless noted otherwise.
The Florence, Italy program at the Instituto Euope will give students the opportunity to immerse themselves in Italian culture through language, music, art and academics. Aside from language courses, a variety of humanities courses, taught in English, will be offered. Local social events and excursions will be a part of the program.

Through this program, students will gain expertise in the study and practice of business, economics, Latin American and Argentine culture and literature, political science, Argentine history through cinema and theater, as well as have the opportunity to be placed as volunteers with organizations and agencies.

The Madrid program at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid gives students the opportunity to experience Spanish culture firsthand and to study Spanish by immersing themselves in the way of life. The program runs under the direction of a Manhattan College director and the humanities classes are taught in English by Manhattan College faculty members.

This exchange program is primarily for business students interested in learning how to equip themselves with the knowledge and managerial skills needed to be successful in the ever-changing global world. SPRING SEMESTER ONLY.
This exchange program is for students in any major with a basic knowledge of French. Students must have completed at least an intermediate college-level course in French or the equivalent. Manhattan College, in cooperation with MICEFA, places students in most of the 16 universities around Paris and its region. Students can take courses in different fields: humanities, social sciences, business administration, sciences and engineering.
This program is for students in any major with an interest in Spanish. It is in partnership with the Universidad La Salle. Students must have completed at least an intermediate college-level course in Spanish or the equivalent.
