Academic Excellence
Retaining a strong faculty and supporting its work is our first order of business. The Fund for Manhattan supplements departmental budgets and is the place to turn for all spontaneous need and unexpected expenses.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

The past few year have seen increased applications for admission and all indicators point to student achievement rising among our entering freshmen. Significant numbers of our student are still the first to receive higher education. Ample scholarship and financial aid are essential to maintaining a diverse, qualified student body. The Fund for Manhattan underwrites the dreams of our most deserving freshmen.

Technology Initiatives

Our renowned engineering, business and science programs, can only remain competitive if the College stays abreast of the latest advances in the field. A quality education experience depends on training and using the most state of the art technology. The Fund for Manhattan insures the College has the resources to maintain high standards.

Student Activity Programming

Extra curricular activities are a key to self discovery and making the friendships that last a lifetime. All the student profit from exposure to the cultural riches of New York City, with its many possibilities for employment and service. The Fund for Manhattan maintains the vibrant connection with New York City.

World Class Athletics

Nationally renowned athletics are not only a source of pride for all Jaspers, but they also attract top students who appreciate the team spirit and chance to participate. The unrestricted nature of gifts to the Fund for Manhattan supports team travel, new equipment, facility improvement and other program needs as they arrive.

Campus Ministry and Social Action (CMSA)

The Jasper learning environment demands opportunities for Campus Ministry and Social Action. Young People seek the Lasallian experience in values and services. The Fund for Manhattan underwrites this defining aspect of Catholic student life and empowers them to realize their spiritual potential.

Mentoring and Career Services

Jaspers connect to the world they will serve through mentoring and career services. These are bridges from school to self sufficiency - the essence of a Lasallian education. Student make important contacts through individualized counseling, internships, placement services, which are financed through the Fund for Manhattan.

Physical Plant and Infrastructure

More residential students means increased maintenance, more housekeeping, expanded security concerns and greater stress on facilities, such as the gymnasium, student center, and O'Malley Library. The Fund for Manhattan makes sure that the campus remains a sanctuary - safe verdant and immaculately cared for every day of the year.
