Financial
Services Advisory Council Seeks to Provide More Services to Alumni
and Students
The mission of the Manhattan College Financial Services
Advisory Council is to serve as an ongoing resource to Manhattan
alumni in the financial community, to renew and strengthen relationships
between alumni, the College, and its students, and to raise the
College's profile in the financial services industry. The goals
of the Council reinforce Manhattan's founding Lasallian mission
of providing opportunities to bright and deserving students, many
of whom will be our future corporate leaders.
The Council
seeks to provide alumni with access to prominent Wall Street and
corporate leaders. The Council also seeks to provide resources for
students seeking careers in finance and related fields in business
and law, through mentoring programs, increased career recruitment,
and access to alumni at all levels in a range of finance professions.
The success of
this initiative will ultimately depend on the active participation
and financial support of alumni, particularly during this milestone
year as the College celebrates its Anniversary and begins the public
phase of the Capital Campaign.
