Campus Renovation & Facility Upgrading
$14
million
Manhattan
needs capital fund to maintain and enhance the beauty and utility
of the campus and to underwrite the maintenance and construction
that are a daily occurance across the campus with its numerous buildings
and miles of underground cables, plumbing and HVAC systems.
The challenge
lies not only in maintaining the well-designed campus, but also
in well-pointed bricks, firm foundations and in safe and useable
ramps for the disabled. A well-lighted and secure campus, as well
as efficient heating and electrical systems, may be unglamorous
but they are essential to the operation and continuing welfare
of the College.
Manhattan seeks
$14 million as a priority within the Sesquicentennial Campaign for
selected plant renovation and facility upgrading throughout the
campus.
