The Rudolph W. Guiliani September 11th Endowed Scholarship Fund
$2.5
million
As
part of the Sesquicentennial Campaign, Manhattan will establish
a special memorial scholarship fund for the children of alumni who
perished in the devastating attack on the World Trade Center on
September11, 2001. The fund also will provide aid to current Manhattan
students who lost a parent as a result of this act of terrorism.
The fund named
in honor of former New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani, a member
of the class of 1965, who played such a prominent and effective
leadership role in responding to the tragedy and its aftermath.
The goal is
to raise $2.5 million to ensure sufficient provision for the education
of these deserving young people who have chosen or seek to attend
Manhattan.
