A good teacher develops students' minds...a great teacher touches their hearts.

The Manhattan College program will help you become a great teacher.  You will find that Manhattan College is the ideal environment to pursue a Master Degree or Professional Diploma.  The program is rooted in the LaSallian tradition of service to others, excellence in teaching and person centered instruction.  It is designed for the working professional.  Courses are offered late afternoon, early evenings and Saturdays.  A faculty advisor will guide you through the program.

The program prepares general and special educators to teach mildly disabled students in self contained and inclusive settings.  Field experience and practicums conducted in the Learning and Computer Centers provide practical application of the theory and research studied in the classroom.

We invite you to visit the campus and meet with our faculty.
