Dr. Freije has written articles and reviews on George Chapman, Gerard Manley Hopkins, D.H. Lawrence, the gothic novel, and technological developments in the humanities; and he has participated in an N.E.H. grant for the Arts and Science Core Curriculum program, as coordinator of writing across the curriculum.
