Our nation’s future rests upon the education of our young people — a truth that lies at the heart of Manhattan College’s Lasallian promise to educate all gifted students, whatever their financial means. But in order to prepare tomorrow’s leaders for the challenges ahead, Manhattan College must rely on benefactors of generosity and vision. Many of the bright young people who attend Manhattan College could not do so without financial assistance. One of the most important forms of support for our students is through endowment of perpetual-named scholarships. In addition to fostering individual academic advancement, you will be linking your name to an educational tradition that is nearly 160 years old. There are three ways to assist students:
A gift of $500,000 or more will endow a perpetual-named scholarship supporting tuition and fees, plus room and board, for a single student at Manhattan College. Your name and a description of the scholarship will be listed in the College catalog.
A gift of $250,000 will endow a perpetual-named scholarship supporting tuition for a student. Your name and a description of the scholarship will be listed in the College catalog.
A gift of $50,000 is the threshold amount for endowing a perpetual-name scholarship at Manhattan College. Your name and a description of the scholarship will be listed in the College catalog.
