JURY DUTY
An employee who is called to jury duty will receive regular pay. To qualify for regular pay, the employee must provide their department head with the official notice of jury duty as soon it is received, but no less that three (3) days before the required attendance date. Proof of jury service must be submitted upon the completion of jury duty.
An employee excused from jury duty before twelve (12) noon must report to work.
Any additional monies received for jury duty service should be returned to the Controller's Office.
EMPLOYEE HEALTH SERVICES
The use of Manhattan College Infirmary is free to all Manhattan College employees. It is open five (5) days a week, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you need to see a doctor, call the infirmary to find out when he/she is available.
COUNSELING AND EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE
All employees and members of their immediate families may avail themselves of the services of the Counseling Center. Counselors are available at no charge for personal, psychological, and vocational counseling. Counseling for dependency problems are available as well.
All counseling is confidential. You may go yourself or be referred by the Human Resources Department.
CREDIT UNION
Manhattan College is a member of the Academic Federal Credit Union. You may become a member and avail yourself through payroll deduction of savings accounts, money market accounts, free checking, IRA's loans, and mortgages. Applications are available in the Human Resources Department.
BOOKSTORE DISCOUNTS
All employees receive a 10% discount on some purchases in the Manhattan College Bookstore.

The College has various discount tickets available for employees for:

PHOTO IDENTIFICATION CARDS
All employees are required to have a Manhattan College Photo Identification Card. Photo Identification cards can be obtained at the Marriott Food Service, Thomas Hall.
HOMEOWNERS AND CAR INSURANCE
Liberty Mutual Insurance Company offers Manhattan College employees discount rates for car insurance and homeowners insurance through payroll deduction. You may call Liberty Mutual at (914) 472-2400 for information.
