Hours: Monday–Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Coordinate all alternative revenue programs generated by business manager. Meet with and negotiate contracts with current and potential summer clients. Market campus to generate new “college mission” based business. Interview and hire camp and conference assistants. Coordinate campus departments in scheduling residence and meeting rooms for conferences. Ensure successful day to day operations of camps and conferences. Meet with food service to negotiate any special catering rates for clients. Distribute updated schedule on a monthly basis to inform key campus personnel of upcoming events. Report projected income and expenses on a quarterly basis to business manager and controller. Develop a website for the business manager’s office. Include a link to Unimarket and purchasing policies. Create a camp and conference page for marketing and management purposes. Assist in marketing program to students. Use analysis to track trends in student spending to further generate profits and provide better service to students. Oversee cash collection and deposits into various accounts. Meet with buyer to review monthly usage report. Continue to analyze process and help implement changes. Recruit vendors. Analyze usage by vendor and departments and recommend changes. Use analysis to track trends in spending to help departments be more cost effective. Bring to business manager any urgent findings. Manage mailroom hours, customer service, policies and staff. Manage print shop and coordinate printing projects.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of banner a plus; strong communication skills. Need to be flexible during summer with additional hours.
