Visiting Faculty - Civil and Environmental Engineering

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Manhattan College seeks applicants for visiting, non-tenured track assistant professor faculty position specializing in geotechnical engineering starting in Janauary 2013. The search committee will consider candidates with an earned doctorate in Geotechnical Engineering at time of appointment or an earned M.S. degree with professional work experience in design and construction.

An undergraduate civil engineering degree from an ABET-accredited program is preferred, and professional and teaching experience is desirable as is professional engineering registration. The successful candidates must have the ability to provide outstanding classroom and laboratory instruction. Candidates with an interest in and potential for teaching and intereacting effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and perspectives are particulary encouraged to apply.
