Presidential Inauguration Faculty Information

Faculty Instructions and Information

We are pleased that you will join us to celebrate the inauguration of Brennan O’Donnell, Ph.D., as Manhattan College’s 19th president. In preparation for your visit to campus, please refer to the following details and information.

Arrival
Plan to arrive at Manhattan College for the faculty reception, which begins at 11:00 a.m. in Dante’s Den, Thomas Hall. You will be directed to park in the College’s parking garage, located on Broadway. Click on the Directions page for driving directions and a campus map.

Check-in and Faculty Reception
Check-in will be located in Dante’s Den, where you will present your ticket. At this point, you are invited to join the faculty reception, also located in Dante’s Den.

Robing, Procession and Lineup
All faculty members will need to provide their own academic attire. Faculty will robe for the academic procession in Dante’s Den, where all belongings left behind will be secured. Manhattan College staff will be on-hand to direct you to the lineup location and lead you to Draddy Gymnasium for the installation ceremony.

Reception
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the procession will return to Dante’s Den to change and then join the reception on the College’s Quadrangle.
