The study rooms are not used as classrooms for regularly scheduled courses for an entire semester.

The study rooms may be reserved for the use of one person, but the individual may be asked to leave for a group.
GROUP VIEWING ROOM 101

The Group Viewing Room has a table and 4 chairs. Equipment can be moved into the room for group viewing and listening.

The policy for using this room is similar to that of the Group Study Rooms, except that group viewing and listening to media take priority over other uses.

The Electronic Classroom has 30 computer stations, a whiteboard, a screen, and a projector permanently installed on the ceiling. An instructor's computer is not permanently installed. One of the 30 student computers can be wired to the projection system.

The Electronic Classroom is for computer-related classes taught by Manhattan College librarians and faculty members.

If equipment needs to be set up, the reservation should be made at least 24 hours in advance not including weekends.

If a class is using only about half of the computers in the Electronic Classroom, the instructor should consider allowing other students to use the remaining computers.

The Electronic Classroom is not used as a classroom for regularly scheduled courses for an entire semester.

When the Electronic Classroom is not being used for classes, it is used as a computer lab.
MULTIMEDIA CLASSROOM 104

The Multimedia Classroom has 38 seats, a whiteboard, a screen, and a projector permanently installed on the ceiling. The room has a network connection for the instructor but no permanently installed computer

The Electronic Commons has 29 computer stations. The South Computer Room has 38 computer stations.

These rooms are set up as computer labs, not as classrooms. In unusual circumstances one of these rooms could be reserved for a class, but ordinarily the Electronic Classroom 410 or the Multimedia Classroom 104 should be used for instruction.
TELECONFERENCE ROOM 103

The Teleconference Room has a table, 12 seats, a whiteboard, and a screen. It does not yet have permanently installed teleconferencing equipment.

The Teleconference Room is used for College meetings.

If equipment needs to be set up, the reservation should be made at least 24 hours in advance not including weekends.

ALUMNI ROOM 100

The Alumni Room has 24 lounge seats, 6 side or coffee tables, four conference tables, and a podium. Approximately 60 non-lounge chairs can be added by the library to accommodate a larger gathering.

The room is neither air-conditioned nor network connected. It therefore does not particularly lend itself to multi-media presentations. These activities should be scheduled in Room 104.

Located on the first floor, it is primarily accessible by elevator from the fifth (main) floor.

The pine-paneled Alumni Room is traditional in its tone and is especially appointed for such campus events as receptions, readings, book signings, seminars, working group discussions, and panels. It has been used successfully for meetings and programs of honor societies.

Light food and beverages may be served. Hot food, banquet or dinner style fare is strongly discouraged. The person reserving the room makes all necessary arrangements for the delivery and removal of food with the Food Service. Likewise, any request for additional furniture must be made by the requester with Campus Events.

The Alumni Room can be used as a reading room when events are not scheduled there and when the Media Center is staffed and supervised.
CURRICULUM RESOURCE CENTER ROOM 207

The Curriculum Room has 3 conference tables and 14 chairs.

The Curriculum Room contains a special collection of educational resources: curriculum guides and children's fiction and nonfiction. The room is intended to serve the needs of users of these resources.
