TO HELP VICTIMS OF HURRICANE KATRINA

STUDENTS TO SPONSOR HURRICANE RELIEF FUND-RAISER
The student government at Manhattan College is sponsoring
“Big Easy Afternoon On the Quad,” a festive, New Orleans-themed
event for hurricane relief. All proceeds will assist those affected
by Hurricane Katrina. |

To assist victims of Hurricane Katrina. The natural
disaster destroyed U.S. Gulf Coast states and displaced thousands
of people. |
| WHO: |
Students,
faculty, staff and administrators will come together to celebrate
the historic essence of New Orleans. Enjoy live jazz music on
the Quad, coffee and beignets – a traditional, New Orleans pastry.
There is no admission fee but money raised from refreshments
and items sold (such as Mardi Gras beads) will fund relief efforts.
