HUNDRED AND TWENTY-SEVEN HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS INDUCTED INTO MANHATTAN
COLLEGE'S ST. LA SALLE HONOR SOCIETY
RIVERDALE,
N.Y. – One hundred and twenty-seven high school seniors
were inducted into Manhattan College's St. La Salle Honor Society
on April 9 in the College’s Chapel of De La Salle and His
Brothers.
The
St. La Salle Honor Society pays tribute to John Baptist De La Salle,
who inspired the Lasallian tradition of excellence in teaching,
respect for individual dignity and commitment to social justice
upon which Manhattan College was founded in 1853.
In
keeping with the spirit of the honor society’s motto, “May
You Continue to Walk in Wisdom,” the student inductees were
honored for their academic achievements and future potential.
Located in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, Manhattan College
offers over 40 major programs of study in the arts, business, education,
engineering and science.
