
President and Provost Highlight Upcoming Year at Faculty ConvocationAt the annual Faculty Convocation held on Sept. 1, Brennan O’Donnell, Ph.D., president of Manhattan College, welcomed all of the new faculty members (click here to see a complete list), and also introduced William Clyde, Ph.D., new executive vice president and provost, Richard Satterlee, Ph.D., new vice president of student life, Michael Carey, Ph.D., new dean of students, and Brother James Wallace, new vice president for Mission, to the Manhattan community. O’Donnell touched on the academic caliber of the new freshmen class and that the students come from all over the world, and that residence occupancy was high.
Provost Clyde also spoke on the goal of developing a new strategic plan for the College in the next year and pulling together the Middle States self-study to measure and report on Manhattan’s success. The strategic plan brings a new vision to Manhattan and further commitment to the student body. |
