School of Arts Enhances Urban Affairs Program with
Single Urban Affairs Major

Manhattan students currently focusing on the urban affairs program now have the option to major in just urban affairs with a more concentrated focus on urban issues and without the requirement of a second major. In addition, students will still have the option of double majoring and minoring in urban affairs. Cory Blad, Ph.D., the new urban affairs program director and assistant professor of sociology, is committed to expanding the program for students by concentrating on their urban/metropolitan interests and integrating further involvement in service learning and research-oriented projects.
