Manhattan Hosts Sneak Preview of The Longoria Affair

On Sept. 30, Manhattan College’s history department, diversity committee, school of arts and the departments of communication, government and sociology hosted two sneak previews of the upcoming PBS documentary The Longoria Affair. The documentary is based on U.S. Army Pvt. Félix Longoria’s death in combat during World War II and how his hometown funeral home refused to bury a “Mexican.” Stay tuned to watch the broadcast premiere on PBS on Nov. 9.
