Alvarado Collects MAAC Rookie of the Week Honors

Michael Alvarado, guard for the men’s basketball team earned the league’s Rookie of the Week award, which was announced at the MAAC in November..

In his first collegiate game, Bronx native Alvarado had five rebounds and sank 11 of his freethrows in the second half, including six clutch buckets from the charity stripe in the final 2:19 to seal the win over the Highlanders.
