Welcome to the Writing Across the Curriculum web site at Manhattan College. You will find a useful, ever-expanding selection of material designed to assist you in the writing component of your courses. There are all kinds of assignments and instructional materials, tips and techniques from fellow teachers, and links to the diverse resources found on the Web. No matter what your discipline--whether you are in Arts, Business, Education, Engineering, or Science--you will find material you will be glad to have, often arranged according to discipline.

For a general overview of writing across the curriculum principles and practices and the role of the Coordinator of Writing Across the Curriculum at Manhattan, please take a look at the "Primer" and the mission statement. After this introduction, I hope you will make great use of this site and its resources, and I also hope that you will consider contributing syllabi, instructional material, or writing assignments to it. And please suggest links to web resources you think others would find useful.
