Important Information for Students Using Books-on-Tape
**If you have any questions regarding the following
procedure contact the SRC immediately**
Manhattan College will pay all fees involving RFB&D membership.

01.    Students needing books-on-tape must contact the SRC as soon as possible in order to leave time for ordering and shipping tapes.

02.    The SRC will contact the RFB&D to determine if you already have an account set-up.

03.    If you do not have an account the SRC will assist you in completing the RFB&D application.

04.    Go to the bookstore after registering for your classes each term, and request a booklist for each class.

05.    You will need the following information for each book:

            *    title
            *    author
            *    publisher
            *    year of publication & edition (ex. 4th edition)
            *    ISBN number if available

06.    Once you have this information, you can contact the RFB&D to order the books:

            * telephone: 800-221-4792
            * Internet:    www.rfbd.org (if you are viewing this on-line, click on the link)

07.    If the books you have requested will not be available in time for the start of the semester, contact the SRC and we will provide you with a reader, until the books arrive, providing you ordered your books in a timely manner.

08.    Please realize the books-on-tape will be registered with the RFB&D under your name (not Manhattan College), therefore it is entirely your responsibility to see that they are returned in a timely fashion, in the condition you received them.

09.    It is your responsibility to contact the RFB&D as soon as possible following registration, and/or to contact the SRC if you experience any problems with this procedure.
