INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS
What is a Mentee?
- A mentee is an individual (in our case, a student) who is seeking to grow and develop by gaining information and/or experiences through a relationship with a mentor.
Benefits of being a Mentee
- The opportunity to develop a relationship with a person in your chosen field of interest
- The chance to try out ideas, question a professional in your field, and explore career goals in a non-threatening way
- Develop a broader understanding and value of the workplace and the world and its people
- Emerge from the process with a clearer sense of yourself and where you are going
- Meeting a possible employer early in your school career
