Many of your fellow Jaspers are currently looking for employment. Are you able to help? We need:
The Center for Career Development continues to offer access to JasperLink, our 24/7 job board and inclusion into our LinkedIn network of alumni, but your assistance is still needed to enhance these services and make these resources the "go to" place for all alumni. A few minutes of your time will help a fellow Jasper.
For more information about how you can help other Jaspers, please contact Kelly Ahn, director, Center for Career Development, at kelly.ahn@manhattan.edu or 718-862-7308.
Manhattan College maintains a searchable job-listing and résumé database through JasperLink. You can submit your résumé for recruiters and also search job listings that have been submitted. Log in or register for JasperLink.
After you receive your e-mail verification, you will be activated within 1-2 business days. You may use random numbers in place of Student ID. Once your account is activated, you can begin your search under the jobs and internships tab. Search under ManhattanCSMLink jobs (jobs posted for Manhattan College students and alumni). And NACELink Network (jobs posted for the hundreds of schools in this network). TIP - begin with a very broad search then narrow it down as you become accustomed to the system. Questions or concerns can be directed to bernadette.hicks@manhattan.edu.
Your résumé can be sent to employers who contact our office seeking to fill positions. For more information contact the recruitment coordinator at 718-862-7965 or bernadette.hicks@manhattan.edu.
At least twice a year we sponsor a career fair for alumni, students and prospective employers. Find information about upcoming events at the career fairs web page.
In our office and online, we offer numerous reference materials to target prospective employers, help in career changes and more.
Manhattan College operates an office of Graduate School and Fellowship Advisement dedicated to assisting students with post-baccalaureate studies. Alumni interested in applying to graduate school can find more information at the Center for Graduate School and Fellowship Advisement web page.
Networking with fellow Jasper alumni is a valuable career resource. Meet up with fellow Jasper grads at an alumni event or look up alumni through the online alumni directory (coming soon).
Give back to current Manhattan College students by becoming a mentor. You can help an undergrad with their career decisions, while meeting other alumni in the mentor program. Learn more about becoming a mentor.
