Health
Services staff provide urgent care for common minor illnesses and
injuries. For serious or prolonged illnesses, students are
referred to a local hospital or private physician. Although an
appointment is not necessary, students who wish to see one of the
physicians are advised to call ahead.

Available Services Include:
- Diagnosis and treatment of minor acute illnesses
- First aid for minor injuries
- a rest area for students who become ill and need a place to rest
- Physical examinations
- Blood pressure check-up
- Vision screening (for drivers license renewal)
- Flu vaccine (nominal fee)
- Allergy injections (registration required)
- MMR immunization
- Diagnostic testing - lab screenings, cultures and blood work (nominal fee to
a laboratory)
- Referrals to local medical specialists.
- Individual
health and wellness counseling/referrals: alcohol and other drug,
weight reduction, HIV testing, smoking cessation, etc.
- Educational programs
