MOVE-IN DAY 2008
New Resident Move-In Day
New students (freshmen and transfers) move in on Saturday, 23 August 2008, from 9am to 5pm. Plan plenty of time to move in. The Resident Student Association will have some volunteers to help you and your family. You may want to take a dolly to ease the load if you have one.
Directions to enter campus are below. You will be directed to drive as close as we can get you to your residence hall. You unload your belongings curbside; then someone will have to move the vehicle to a parking area at some distance from your residence hall. Vehicles may NOT be left unattended. While the driver parks, you and whoever else is assisting you can begin to take your belongings to your room.
We ask your cooperation in unloading and parking your vehicle – and your patience. Besides having over 600 students entering 4 residence halls from 3 vehicular approaches, the day may be warm and your emotions may be mixed. Stay cool and loose!
