Transfer Application Requirements

Generally, you must have a minimum 2.5 GPA at the college or university where you are currently enrolled to be considered for undergraduate transfer admission to Manhattan University. All applicants are evaluated holistically.

Which of my Courses Will Transfer?

Manhattan University accepts up to 64 credits from a community college and 90 from a four-year institution of higher education. Within 7-10 days of your acceptance to Manhattan University, we will notify you which courses and how many credits from your previous college(s) will transfer in.

    Which of my courses will transfer?

    We accept up to 64 credits from a community college and 90 from a four-year institution of higher education.

    How long does the transfer process take? What steps are involved?

    Upon receiving your acceptance letter, you will be issued a Transfer Credit Evaluation (TCE) within 7-10 business days detailing how many prior earned credits and which specific courses will transfer to your Manhattan University degree plan.

    How are transfer students fully acclimated to the Manhattan University community after they arrive from a previous institution?

    Transfer students attend a unique orientation experience where they will have an opportunity to socialize with one another and assimilate to their new environment together.

Credit will be granted only for specific work when completed at accredited institutions whose quality and course content have been approved for transfer to Manhattan University.

Generally transfer students will earn fifty percent (50%) of the credit necessary for individual program requirements for graduation at Manhattan University, excluding core, general education, and/or elective requirements
