Living Lasallian: Mission Month During the Jubilee Year

In 2019, Lasallians around the world commemorate 300 years after De La Salle.

Mission Month banners on quad March 2019On Manhattan College’s campus and across the globe, we Lasallians are encouraged to reflect on the life and legacy of Saint John Baptist de La Salle, 300 years after his passing into eternal life.

Across the 65 Lasallian universities in our network – as well as in the more than 1,000 primary and secondary schools and other ministries that identify as Lasallian – we are invited to be particularly mindful of the worldwide Tercentenary campaign “#300LaSalle: One Heart; One Commitment; One Life.”

And so, as we commemorate Mission Month 2019 this year, we do so in the context of this worldwide celebration. Visit this page for our full calendar of events.

Thanks to the work of many on campus, the month of April will be full of engaging and exciting ways to honor the heritage with which we have been blessed and to which we contribute as we promote the Catholic intellectual, social, and educational tradition and the legacy of Saint John Baptist de La Salle.
