New Residence Hall To House Growing Number of JaspersThe class of 2012 has yet to step on campus, but arrangements are well underway for their arrival. Later this year, Manhattan College will unveil its new residence hall, East Hill Tower II, which a group of Jaspers will soon call home. Ground was broken on East Hill Tower II in December 2006, and the state-of-the-art residence hall is on schedule to be completed in July. The attractive structure that overlooks Van Cortlandt Park will eventually provide a safe home for some 550 students, which brings residential housing for East Hill and its twin, Horan Hall, to 1,270. College To Honor Frederic V. Salerno '65 at De La Salle DinnerManhattan College will present Frederic V. Salerno '65, retired vice chairman and chief financial officer of Verizon, with the De La Salle Medal at the College's annual fundraising dinner on Wednesday, Jan. 16. The ceremony will be held at The Waldorf=Astoria in New York City. Thanks to the tremendous support and efforts of Salerno, this year's dinner is on schedule to be one of the most successful in history.
