Manhattan Student is Finalist for Fulbright Scholarship
The National Screening Committee for the Fulbright Student Scholarship Program recently notified Jacqueline Hargrove, a senior and psychology major, that she has been recommended as a finalist for a Fulbright research scholarship. Hargrove plans to do her proposed research project entitled Caring for Orphans and Vulnerable Children: The Nyumbani Approach in Kenya, where she participated in a Lasallian Outreach Volunteer Experience (L.O.V.E.) trip in winter 2009-2010. The final decision on her Fulbright candidacy is expected sometime in April.
