College To Present a Candlelight Christmas Celebration

The Manhattan College Singers and Orchestra will host their holiday program, A Festival of Lessons and Carols, on Sunday, Dec. 2 at 4:30 p.m. in the Chapel of De La Salle and His Brothers. The program is a unique and festive celebration that combines an eclectic selection of music, prayers and traditional Christmas carols. Read

 

Manhattan College Honored at Model U.N. Conference

Manhattan College's 11-student delegation was honored with one of six performance awards at the National Model United Nations-D.C. Conference, which was held from Nov. 2-4 on the campus of The Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies. Read

 

 

 

 

 

Dr. Francis Taylor Deceased at 82

Dr. Francis B. Taylor '44, professor emeritus of mathematics and computer science and a member of the Manhattan College community for more than half a century, passed away on Nov. 16 at the age of 82. Taylor joined the College in 1947 as an instructor in mathematics and was part of the faculty until his retirement in 1990. A generous supporter of the College, the Francis B. Taylor Medal for Excellence in Science and Mathematics is awarded annually during Commencement exercises.

Please be advised that there was an error in the 2007-08 student handbook, which indicates residence halls open for the spring semester on Sunday, Jan. 20, 2008. Due to the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday, students may not return before Monday, Jan. 21, 2008. Thank you for your cooperation.
