Baseball Squad Enters Home Stretch

With just two weeks left in the regular season, the Manhattan College baseball team is fighting for position and seeding in the upcoming MAAC tournament, which begins on May 22 in Trenton, N.J. The Jaspers play their next four contests at Van Cortlandt Park, including a three-game set against conference foe Saint Peters this weekend. Read.

 

Donnelly Named MAAC Softball Rookie of the Week

Melissa Donnelly

Freshman pitcher/infielder Melissa Donnelly was named the MAAC Rookie of the Week on April 22. Donnelly pitched in three games, posting a 2-0 record with a 0.69 ERA while allowing only six hits over 12 innings. She batted .333 and twice drove in a pair of runs in games against Iona and Rider. Women's Soccer Announces 2008 Team Captains

Women's Soccer

Head women's soccer coach Sean Driscoll announced Manhattan College's 2008 team captains on April 22. Seniors Brittany Duhamel and Viviane Masters, along with juniors Jill Beauchamp and Courtney McMahon are prepared to lead the Lady Jaspers in their quest for the program's first MAAC championshp. Fagerlund Wins 100 Meter Hurdles at Yale Springtime Invitational

Manhattan College freshman Siri Fagerlund continued to show she is one of the region's top 100 meter hurdlers on April 27, taking first at the Yale Springtime Invitational held in New Haven , Conn. She ran the event in 14.47 seconds. Read.

 

Antoine Pearson Selected to All-MET Third Team

Manhattan College sophomore point guard Antoine Pearson was named to the 2007-08 All-Met Third Team for Division I men's college basketball during the MET Basketball Writers Association's 75th Annual awards banquet at Giants Stadium in April. Pearson led the Jaspers with 12.2 points per game. Read.
