Peter Quinn '69 to Speak at NYC Alumni Club November 8thOn Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2007, the New York City Alumni Club will be hosting a networking reception at the New York Life Building from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The event will feature a presentation by alumnus Peter Quinn '69, a noted author of such works as The Banished Children of Eve and Looking for Jimmy: A Search for Irish America. Eight To Be Inducted into the Athletic Hall of FameThe Manhattan College Athletic Hall of Fame will welcome eight new members during the 29th annual induction ceremony to be held on Saturday, Dec. 1 at 4:45 p.m. in Smith Auditorium. The inductees are: men's basketball stars Jamal Marshall '95 and V. Grady O'Malley '69; track and field standouts Ignatius Rienzo '50, John Corry '62 and David Frazier '94; swimmer Danielle Gelsomino '95; softball coach Paul Mazzei; and baseball pioneer Luis Castro, class of 1900, who is widely regarded as the first Hispanic to play major league baseball with the 1902 Philadelphia Athletics.
