College Raises $1.475 Million at De La Salle Medal Dinner

The 2008 De La Salle Medal Dinner raised a record $1.475 million, making it the most successful in the event¹s 32-year history. A crowd of 525 attendees came to The Waldorf=Astoria on Jan. 16 to honor Frederic V. Salerno ¹65, retired vice chairman and chief financial officer of Verizon, who received the College¹s De La Salle Medal. College Names New Sports Information Director

Manhattan College has named Stephen Dombroski as its new sports information director. He will oversee media relations for the Jaspers' 19 Division I athletic programs. Dombroski comes to Manhattan from Siena College, where he served as assistant sports information director. Prior to Siena, Dombroski worked as a graduate assistant at Wagner College. Read
