March With Manhattan in the 247th New York City St. Patrick's Day Parade

Pipes & Drums

All alumni, family and friends are invited to march with Manhattan College and the oldest Catholic alumni society on St. Patrick's Day, Monday, March 17, 2008. Please assemble by 11:15 a.m. at West 45th Street between Fifth and Sixth avenues. Marchers are required to purchase a sash for $5 from the Gaelic Society. Pipes & Drums To March in the Naples, Fla. St. Patrick's Day Parade

The Manhattan College Pipes & Drums, an award-winning college pipe band, will march in the 30th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade in Naples, Fla., on Saturday, March 15.

The event was made possible due in large part to the support and efforts of Jim Connors '57, who was instrumental in planning the parade festivities and also helped to organize lodging and financial support for the group.

Ambassador Ted McNamara '69 To Speak at NYC Alumni Club on April 10

The New York City Alumni Club will be hosting a networking reception at the Mutual of America Building (330 Park Avenue) from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, 2008. The event will feature a presentation by Ambassador Thomas E. McNamara '62. McNamara has extensive diplomatic experience in political-military affairs, terrorism, narcotics, and the regions of Latin America, Middle East, Africa, Europe and Russia. President George W. Bush recently appointed him to program manager for the information sharing environment. He reports directly to the director of national intelligence and is responsible for implementing basic reforms in the management of information throughout our government. Staten Island Communion Breakfast

The Manhattan College Alumni Society will be hosting a Communion breakfast on Sunday, April 13 at Blessed Sacrament Church on Staten Island, N.Y. The mass will be celebrated by Monsignor Peter Finn '60 and a breakfast will follow at Li Greci's Staaten on Forest Avenue. For more information and to register, click Here.
