Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

The 2009 Manhattan College Athletic Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held on Saturday, Nov. 14. It will honor Bill Goodfellow ’68, basketball (posthumously); John Leonard ’82, basketball; Marty Ludwikowski ’80, track; Aliann Pompey ’99, track; Mike Quigley ’72, baseball; Gerry Ryan ’90, track & field; and Gerard Smith ’79, tennis. New York City Club Reception

O'Donnell

Brennan O’Donnell, Ph.D., president of Manhattan College, will join alumni at the fall networking reception of the New York City Club on Thursday, Nov. 19 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Hosted by New York Life, the event is $50 per person and includes cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Treasure Coast Alumni Luncheon

Join Florida’s Treasure Coast alumni for their first gathering of the season on Nov. 18, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. The luncheon will take place at the Ramada Inn in Stuart, Fla. (1200 SE Federal Highway). Manhattan vs. Fordham On Thanksgiving Weekend

Make attending a men’s basketball game part of your Thanksgiving weekend. On Saturday, Nov. 28, Manhattan College welcomes longtime rival Fordham University for the 102nd Battle of the Bronx. Join us for a pregame buffet dinner at $25 per person at 5:00 p.m. in the faculty dining room, Thomas Hall. Tip-off is at 7:00 p.m. Free giveaways for the first 100 people to arrive. Manhattan College Piper’s Ball

The Manhattan College Pipes & Drums will be hosting a Piper’s Ball on Saturday, Dec. 5, at Gaelic Park (240th Street and Corlear Avenue). The event, from 8:00 p.m.-12:00 a.m., is $35 in advance and $40 at the door. The cost includes beer, wine, soda and light food. Gulf Coast Christmas Luncheon

Celebrate the holiday season with fellow Jaspers at our Gulf Coast Alumni Christmas Luncheon on Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009 at 12:00 p.m. at the University Park Country Club in Sarasota, Fla. Lake Placid Ski and Snow Trip

Manhattan College alumni and friends are invited to enjoy a fun winter weekend at Lake Placid, N.Y., from Jan. 22-24, 2010. Enjoy all the attractions of this beautiful northern resort, including skiing at Whiteface Mountain, snowboarding, bobsled and luge tracks, and miles of cross country skiing and snowshoeing. Reunion Weekend 2010 will be held June 4-6. Manhattan College welcomes home our alumni who return to campus to celebrate the 141st Alumni Reunion Weekend. Classes ending in either a 5 or 0 will have special receptions.
