Battle of the Bronx Highlights Hoops Season’s Opening Month

The 2009-10 men’s college basketball campaign begins for the Jaspers with a home game against New Jersey Institute of Technology on Saturday, Nov. 14 at 2:00 p.m. The season’s opening month features the annual Battle of the Bronx matchup with Fordham on Nov. 28 at 7:00 p.m. in Draddy Gymnasium. Men’s Lacrosse Squad Posts Two Wins at Wishmaker Tournament

The Manhattan College men’s lacrosse team concluded its fall season on Oct. 21 with two games at the Wishmaker Tournament at Dowling College. On a cold and rainy day, the Jaspers notched a pair of victories. Manhattan knocked off Stony Brook, 7-6, and posted a 15-11 victory over Dowling. The Jaspers open the 2010 regular season with a nationally-televised matchup at perennial national power Johns Hopkins on Feb. 20. Read.
